What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is based on the idea that “like cures like.”
That is, if a substance causes a symptom in a healthy person, giving the person a very small amount of the same substance may cure the symptoms. A homeopathic remedy enhances the body's normal healing and self-regulatory processes.

A homeopathic health practitioner (homeopath) uses liquid mixtures
(solutions) or pellets containing only a little of an active ingredient (usually a plant, mineral or animal) for treatment of disease. These are known as highly diluted or "potentiated" substances. Homeopaths currently use 2000 to 3000 remedies.

Homeopathy is a system based on three principles:

• Like cures like
For example, if the symptoms of your cold are similar to poisoning by mercury, then mercury would be your homeopathic remedy.

• Minimal Dose
The remedy is taken in an extremely dilute form; normally one part of the remedy to around 1,000,000,000,000 parts of water.

• The Single Remedy
No matter how many symptoms are experienced, only one remedy is taken, and that remedy will be aimed at all those symptoms.
Let us have some fun!
Do you think you are an animal remedy, a plant remedy or a mineral remedy? Which of the following describes you?
(These are generalities, not absolutes; you could be a combination of any three.)
